Primary School Programs
The Intel Mini Scientist program gives 8 - 12 year old students across Ireland the chance to participate in science exhibitions for which they develop visual displays and accompanying project books based on scientific areas aligned to the national primary science curriculum. 2014, was the biggest year yet for the competition with more than 5,500 students in 92 different schools taking part. 2014 winners were Timahoe National School. Intel Engineering Challenge
Engineers Week takes place 9th -13th February 2015. Each year Intel hosts Engineering Challenges for primary school children aged 8-10. Budding engineers are invited to complete enjoyable and informative challenges of designing and building a variety of items, such as rockets and bridges, from recycled materials.
